Billy Lee Conner, 73-year-old Vinita resident, passed away on Thursday, November 5, 2020. He was born on August 9, 1947 in Vinita to Joe Walter and Leatha Clara (Brookshire) Conner. He grew up in Missouri, and lived and worked in Wichita, Kansas. He was an electrician for Boeing Aircraft in Wichita, and later drove a truck for Arrow Trucking. Billy also served his country in the United States Army from 1975 to 1978. Billy moved back to this area in 2009 from Wichita.
He was preceded in death by his dad in 1972 and his mother in 2011 and a brother Robert Joe “Bob” Conner in 2015.
The family includes his daughters, Bobbi Jo Conner, and Sarah Marie Conner both of Vinita, granddaughter, Charity Gail Conner of Vinita, his sister, Patricia June Martin of Vinita and sister in-law, Wanda Irene Schulz of Lebanon, Missouri.
He was preceded in death by his dad in 1972 and his mother in 2011 and a brother Robert Joe “Bob” Conner in 2015.
