FALASSI, Ethel Martha Ellen, passed away quietly at her home in Lancaster on September 24, 2007. She was born in Floyd, Virginia on September 11, 1916, to Jarman and Susan Ashworth. She was married to Orlando Falassi for 51 years until his passing in 2006. Among her many interests, Ethel enjoyed embroidery, travel and helping the less fortunate. She was active in the 60 and Up Club, Women's Ministries Outreach Program, and a longtime supporter of Three Angels Broadcasting Network. She is survived by her children; Dolores Johnson, Angela (John) Perez, Paul (Carol) Falassi, Londa Johns, Raymond Goens, and Shirley (Jim) Carl, as well as four sisters, one brother, nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m., Sunday, September 30, 2007, at Halley-Olsen-Murphy Memorial Chapel, 44802 N. Date Avenue, Lancaster, Calif. Interment will be at Riverside National Cemetery.
