Rosa M. Baldwin, age 83, of Nappanee, passed away Saturday, October 17, 2020 unexpectedly at her residence. She was born March 1, 1937 in Cienfuegos, Cuba to Federico and Aurora M. (Novoa) Ballestero. She came to the USA in 1951 and was a U.S. citizen. She has lived in the Nappanee/Goshen area since 1993. Rosa had worked at Dwyer in Wakarusa and was a homemaker.
She is survived by her daughters, Aurora (Bryan) Valentine, Jackson, CA, Irma (Edward) Plug, Goshen, Olga (Jim) Elia, Apex, NC, Iris Cyrus, South Chicago Heights, IL; sons, Louis Otano, Arlington, TX, Raul (Denise) Otano, Valparaiso; 16 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren and daughter-in-law, Pam Otano, Crown Point. She was preceded in death by her son, Robert Otano, who passed away in 2019.
According to Rosa’s wishes cremation will take place and there will be no services.
