Mrs. Esther R. Barton
New York, Nov. 20 (AP)--Mrs. Esther Randall Barton, 64, wife of Bruce Barton, died today at her home at 117 E. 55th st. Barton is chairman of the board of Battne, Barton, Durstine, and Osborn, New York advertising agency. Barton, a Republican, served in congress from 1937 to 1941. Mrs. Barton was born in Oak Park, Ill., the only daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles P. Randall. Her father was a member and later a director of the Chicago Board of Trade. She was married to Barton in 1913. Besides her husband, she is survived by three children: Randall Barton of Phoenix, Ariz., and Betsey Barton, an author, and Bruce Barton Jr. of New York.
