This obituary appeared in the Times Recorder, Zanesville, Ohio. Harvey Lester Adolph 68 of 1529 Ridge Avenue died at 5:40 pm Wednesday in Good Samaritan Medical Center. He had been ill several months. Mr. Adolph retired from the Dura Corporation in 1975. Born in Muskingum County 20 September 1909, he was the son of Frederick Valentine and Sylvia Leota Kinney Adolph. Surviving are his wife the Former Helen Crozier: three sons: Lester Junior of 208 Florence Avenue, Ramond of 1125 Wheeling Avenue, Delbert of 1360 Clay Street; three dauhters Mrs. (Eileen) Richard Blair of South River Road, Miss Marjorie Adolph of the home and Mrs. Norabelle Sims of 1535 Ridge Avenue; two sisters Mrs. Reed (Isabelle) Mitchell, Mrs. Harry (Edna) Garver of Dresden; 20 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Burial will be in Salem Methodist Cemetery, Madison Township, Muskingum County.
