Gertrude Carlson, 86, of Hibbing died Tuesday, Oct. 28, 1997. She was born November 13, 1910 to Richard and Rachel (Kelley) Giffin.

She is survived by her son, Clifford A. "Kip" (Sheila) Carlson Jr.; grandchildren: Shawn (Cory) Arlt and Leah (Steven) Price; three great-grandchildren; and a sister-in-law, June Giffin.

Burial in Maple Hill Cemetery.
