KELLUM. Mrs. Bessie Mae, age 59, of 220 Kyzer Avenue, Bessemer, passed away Monday p.m. at the residence. Survived by her husband, John W. Kellum, Sr.; 1 son, John W. Kellum, Jr.; 1 grandson; mother, Mrs. W. W. Kindrick; 5 sisters. Mrs. V. F. Carrington, Mrs. Wed Lantrip, Mrs. E. G. Norris, Miss Flora Kindrick and Mrs. Q. P. Davis, of Montgomery, Ala.; 6 brothers. R. H., E. A., V. D., W. W., Jr., J. L. Kindrick, all of Besemer; W. C. Kindrick of Houston, Tex. Funeral services Wednesday at 2 p.m. from the Second Baptist Church with the Rev. Clyde Meredith and Rev. Miles L. Vines officiating, internment Valhalla Cemetery. Deacons of Second Baptist Church will serve as pallbearers. Brown-Service, Bessemer, directing.
