She was born April 28, 1916 in Roselle, Missouri, the daughter of John Vance and Avrah Lashley.
On May 3, 1936, she was married to Telly Hugo Pinkley .
Mrs. Pinkley was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Donald Maurice Pinkley ; two daughters, Margaret Darlene Miller and Sharon M. Henson; brother, Carl F. Vance; and sister Avrah Elizabeth Pinkley .
Mrs. Pinkley had 23 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
She worked as a cook at Kozy Korner for 25 years and was a member of the First Nazarene Church of Ironton.
Services were held August 5, 2003 at Bryson Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Shirley Royer officiating. Interment was at Ashlock Cemetery in Silvermines, Missouri.
