Sharon Henshaw, 74 of Centerville, passed away on November 17, 2020 at Centerville Specialty Care.

Born on April 6, 1946, Sharon Kay was the daughter of Elmer and Clarissia (Hopkins) Doll. She graduated from Centerville High School in 1964 and married Gary Henshaw on June 26, 1965 at Calvary Baptist Church. To this union, a son, Max, and a daughter, Clarissia, were born.

Gardening was one of Sharon's many loves and she found joy working in her strawberry patch. She was especially known for spoiling her family.

Sharon is survived by her husband Gary Henshaw, son Max Henshaw (Tina), daughter Clarissia Henshaw-Thomas (Randon), grandchildren Ryan Henshaw and Larissia Thomas, sisters Betty Barker, Patty Powell and Nancy Cox, her brother Jack Doll, as well as numerous extended family. She is preceded in death by her parents, sisters Irene Welch, Mary Adamson and Jenny Brown, and her brothers Jim Doll, Gary Billes and Russell Doll.

A funeral service for Sharon will take place at Thomas Funeral Home in Centerville on Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at 10:30 AM with interment following at Mt. Ararat Cemetery. Visitation will be all day, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, on Monday, November 23, 2020 at Thomas Funeral Home.
