Robert (Bob) Harold Bertelson, age 73, of Battle Creek left us on Monday morning, November 16, 2020. Bob spent more than 33 years serving the country he loved. During the Vietnam war, he served in the United States Air Force as a SSgt. He later continued his service by working at the Battle Creek Federal Center until he retired in 2004. Bob was a member of the Pennfield Exchange Club and the Uncle Sam's Band for many years. He loved spending time with his family especially at "The Cottage". He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed traveling, photography and wintering in Florida. Bob was also a diehard U of M Football fan through good seasons and bad. He brought much to many and will be greatly missed.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Harold Jr and Mary Mae Bertelson. Bob is survived by the "Love of His Life", his four children, nine grandchildren, sister and several nieces & nephews.

Interment with full military honors will follow at Fort Custer National Cemetery.
