O'Bryon. On October 11, 1899, in this city, William E. O'Bryon, in the twenty-sixth year of his age. The relatives and friends of the family (also, Fulton Castle, No. 410, K.G.E., and Battery C.P.V.) are respectfully invited to attend the funeral, from his father's residence, No. 637 North Mary street, on Saturday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. Funeral of William Obryon.
The funeral of William Obryon, the young slater, who was killed in a fall on Wednesday, took place from his father's residence, No. 637 North Mary street, this afternoon. According to arrangements made at a meeting of Battery C, on Friday evening, the members residing here attended the funeral. Fulton castle, of the Knights of the Golden Eagle, was also well represented. The interment took place at Woodward Hill cemetery. The pall-bearers were the following members of Battery C: E. R Griel, Arthar Herr, James C. Leman, Mi es (sic) Schaum, Harry D. Boss and Michael Boas. Joseph Bailey, of Phoenixville, who was the bugler of the battery, arrived in town this morning and blew the taps at the grave. -- Intelligencer Journal, Lancaster, Pennsylvania, 14Oct1899, p. 4.
