Native of Great Falls, Montana she grew up in the beautiful Big Sky country.
She was born Darlene Ann Barnum daughter to Ann Helen & Joseph Clinton “Barney” Barnum.
She married Frank Martin and moved to California with whom she had two daughters.
She then married Paul Morgan and settled in San Jose for 57 years.
She trained as a Hair Dresser and had her own salon in her home for many years.

She is mother to Christina “Tina” Ann Martin Wallis of San Jose, Ca and Julie Louise Martin Donovan of Hollidaysburg, PA.
She is grandmother “Nano” to Clinton Barnum Wallis, Felicia Ann Wallis, Jacquelyn Christine Donovan Phillips, James Michael Donovan, Jeffrey Martin Donovan.
Great grandmother to Michael Robert Phillips (to be born May 2020).
Also survived by sons in law Ivor Wallis, IV and Michael Donovan.
Grandmother in law to James Phillips.

Her granddaughter Jackie wrote this tribute for her Nano “You didn’t just notice her when you walked in the room, you wanted to be her. Always fashionable, true to who she was, and brave enough to chart her own course in life, Nano wasn’t afraid to make her own rules. I’ve always admired her for living life exactly on her terms. I know they will have some of the finest flea markets and beauty salons in heaven. Love you Nano.”

Growing up in Montana she loved to sing, dance and laugh and was involved in many activities. She later became very involved in Parents without Partners, AARP, where she made many lifelong friends. She loved collecting old things, beautiful clothes, and spent many weekends going to garage sales and selling at the flea market.
