Grace King Ross
Grace King Ross, 70, Topeka, died Friday, Dec. 27, 1991, at her home.
She was born Dec. 27, 1921, in Culver, the daughter of V.B. and Bernice Melvin Mayfield.
She was a member of Sacred Heart Church and Capitola Rebekah Lodge No. 219.
Survivors include three daughters, Kay Vaughn Taylor, Patricia King Webster, and Frances Vaughn Callahan, all of Topeka; two sons, Raymond Ross, and John King Ross, both of Topeka; a sister, Joyce Davis Crummet, Wichita; 13 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday on the patio at Topeka Cemetery. Mrs. Ross will lie in state after 2 p.m. Monday at Brennan Funeral Home where relatives and friends will meet from 6 to 8 p.m. and a parish rosary will be at 7:30 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1315 SW Arrowhead Rd., 66604, or Midland Hospice Care, 1272 Fillmore, 66606.
