Gloria Jean Ball, age 80 of Arbyrd, Missouri, widow of Billy Joe Ball, passed from this life Thursday, November 19, 2020, at the Heritage Nursing Center in Kennett, Missouri. Born in Leachville, she was the daughter of the late David Porter and Alice Missouri Pruitt Gibson and was raised in the Paulding community. A lifelong area resident she retired from Tenneco Manufacturing in Paragould and was a member of the former Silverdale Baptist Church and later the First Baptist Church in Senath. She enjoyed fishing, bowling, attending church, canning, cooking, and spending time with her grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a brother and 6 sisters.
Survivors include; 2 sons, David Ball (Connie) of Cardwell, Missouri, and Wade Ball (Sandra) of Manila, AR.
2 daughters, Alice Jackson and Donna Sue Ball, both of Paragould
2 brothers; Marion Gibson (Jackie) of Cardwell, and Jimmy Gibson (Joni) of Durand, Michigan
2 sisters, Jerry Hutton of Paragould, AR, and Judy Pidgeon (John) of Flint, Michigan
She also leaves 7 grandchildren, Tabitha, Stacy, Constance, Mylo, Bobby, Everett, and Joshua, and 17 great-grandchildren.
Graveside funeral service will be 2:00 P. M. Monday in the Cardwell Cemetery with Rev. Denny Brown officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Mylo Ball, Bobby Ball, Everett Ball, Joshua Ball, Jacob Damon, Ashton Damon, and Justin Jackson.
