As she shared her wishes after her death she requested that she be cremated and one-half of her ashes buried with her husband in K of P Cemetery in Burnsville, Braxton County, West Virginia. Her request was that one-half be buried in the Gregory Cemetery, Braxton County, West Virginia with her parents and siblings buried there. A memorial bench was placed there with the other half of the ashes.

On Wednesday January 16, 2019 Jane Grey Gregory Hardman of Alexandria, VA, went to be with the Lord.
Jane Grey Gregory was born August 27,1932 in Gregory, West Virginia, a daughter of the late James Vincent and Dora Brown Gregory. She was the eleventh child and predeceased by her ten siblings: John Gregory, Raymond Gregory, Walter Gregory, William Gregory, Erma Gregory Brohard, Beulah Gregory Winko, Paul Pierson Gregory, Oliver Curtis Gregory, Ione Ruth Gregory Ullrich, and Anna Lee Gregory Mayfield.
