Shirley Ann (Garner) Posey, 78,died peacefully in her sleep November 21, 2020.
Shirley was a lifelong hairdresser.
She loved Saturday night Bingo with her special friend, Peggy Munsinger, her Aunt Dot, and her brother, Pee-Wee.
A graveside service is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 25, 2020, at West Shady Grove Cemetery in Jacksonville. Rev. Dale Jamerson will officiate.
Services are under the direction of Autry Funeral Home, Jacksonville.
Visitation will be held 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 25, 2020 at Autry Funeral Home, Jacksonville.
Shirley was born March 24, 1942 in Maydelle, Texas to Perl and Annie Louise (Williams) Garner.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Perl and Louise Garner; husband, Mitchell Posey; and brothers, Jerry Garner and John Alton Garner.
Ms. Posey is survived by her children, Alan Posey and wife Allison of El Dorado, AR, Randy King and wife Sherri of Rusk, Tim King and wife Melissa, also of Rusk, Stacey Little and husband Shannon of Jacksonville; and her brother, Dewayne Garner of Jacksonville. She is survived by 14 grandchildren: Haley Abbott, Morgan Bragg, Colton Posey, Austin Posey, Mitch Lewis, Steven Little, Kim Bolton, Kari Warren, Timothy King, J.W. King, Charley Page, Brandy Hubble, Jessey Woodson and Jayden Little; 12 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, and a special nephew, Jerry Lee “Bucky” Garner.
