Kathy had a very successful career with Blue Cross Blue Shield as she rose from an entry position to a Director for the Medicare Program for the State of Texas. Kathy was always a very giving and understanding person, is missed by all her fellow workers who believed their lives were better for having such strong relationships with her.
She is survived by her beloved husband Bill, her sister Jo Ann Clark of Longview Texas, Ellen Bridger of Crawford Texas, brothers Bobby Boyd and Greg Boyd both of Waco, Texas and there spouses. In addition to a large number of nephews and nieces whom she loved dearly. Kathy always maintained very strong relationships with her siblings and loved all her nieces and nephews. These close family ties and participation in the annual Christmas White Elephant party were something Kathy looked forward to. This event was full of joy, laughter and happiness for the entire family. Kathy got along with everyone and was always thinking of others. Kathy enjoyed reading, life, keeping up with the weather reports and attending University of Texas football games with the love of her life, Bill. After retiring she was part of a group of retirees who met for lunch, to reminisce, to laugh and to continue her relationships with those she cared deeply for.
The funeral will be held at Restland Funeral Home on Greenville Avenue in Dallas, Texas on Sunday morning November 29th at 10:00 with burial in Waco, Texas at Waco Memorial Cemetery at 3:00 November 29th.
