Obituary
Joyce Terrey, age 82, passed away unexpectedly in her SeaTac home on September 4th, 2017. Joyce was born in Burley, Idaho to Frank and Mable (Vera) Dudley. Her mother and stepfather, Lester Gadd, raised her in the Seattle/Tacoma region, where she lived her entire life. Amongst her best qualities, Joyce was a loving and dedicated daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great great grandmother who will be forever missed. Joyce is proceeded in death by her sister Arlene Skordal, her first husband Melvin Tuffs, her late husband Russell Terrey, and her son Stephen Tuffs. Joyce is survived by her sister Janice Vinther and her brother Jerry Gadd, as well as her son Michael Tuffs, Daughter Vicki Laird, stepdaughter Colleen Raney, and stepdaughter Kathleen Terrey and their families. Joyce was an incredibly dedicated choir member at the Des Moines United Methodist Church for many years. In lieu of flowers, the family would love for anybody to make a donation to the choir fund in her honor. The family of Joyce Terrey invites you to join them in a reception and fellowship after the graveside service. The reception will be potluck style, feel free to bring a dish and a story about Joyce. We have veggie trays covered.
