She was born in in Glenarm on June 23, 1907, the daughter of David M. and Kathryn Agnes Duncan Murphy. She married Franklin Willcockson in 1930 and he preceded her in death. She also was preceded in death by two brothers, James and Alexander. A resident of Springfield most of her life, Mrs. Willcockson was a telephone operator for CILCO for 27 years, retiring in 1972. Mrs. Willcockson was a member of St. Agnes Church, Altar and Rosary Society, Catholic Daughters of America and Retirees Club of CILCO.
Surviving are one son, Howard Willcockson of Springfield; two grandchildren; one great-grandchild; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral Mass at St. Agnes Church, with the Rev. Kevin Laughery officiating. Burial in Calvary Cemetery.
