"Wendy Ford Bell Corn Kreger, a longtime Belvedere resident, died March 20th, 2007, after a long battle with cancer. She was 69. Mrs. Kreger was active in many local volunteer organizations, such as the Raccoon Branch of the Marin General Hospital. She was a member of the Belvedere Tennis Club and the San Francisco Yacht Club and especially enjoyed being a member of her Money Bags investment group. Mrs. Kreger is survived by her second husband, Donald Kreger; five children, Sam Corn of Tiburon, Sallie Duncan of Atlanta, Peter Corn of Santa Rosa, Polly Corn of Boston and Alfred Corn of Greenbrae; three siblings, Sam Bell of Vero Beach, Florida, Sallie Bell of Orcas Island, Washington, and Virginia Bell of Carmel Valley; and 11 grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held at 4 p.m., Wednesday, April 11, at St. Stephen's Church, 3 Bayview Ave., in Belvedere. Donations in her memory may be sent to American Cancer Society, Attn: Shira Levy, 750 Lindaro Street #120, San Rafael, CA 94901 (please write "cancer research" on the bottom of the check); or to St. Stephen's Church, 3 Bayview Ave., Belvedere, CA 94920."
