Bobby Lafe Warner, 74, passed away at Lonesome Pine Hospital, Big Stone Gap, VA on September 12, 2020. Bobby was a member of the VFW Post 10298 and proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force for four years as an airplane engineer during the Vietnam War. He previously worked at Birmingham Bolt in Duffield, VA and he served as president for 10 years of the International Brotherhood of Boilermakers. Mrs. Warner was of the Methodist faith. Bobby was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.

Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, W.L. "Bill" and Kathleen Ely Warner; daughter, Bobbie Lynn Warner; and a brother, Jimmy Warner. He is survived by his loving wife, Yvonne Warner of the home; children, Korey Warner (Brooke), Melanie Bostic (Scottie); a special son, Colin Bostic; and step-children, Lawana Baumgardner and Robert Baumgardner. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Brooke Warner, Daimon Bostic Sayler; great-grandchild, Kallie Warner; and five step-grandchildren.

A private graveside service will be held at Warner Family Cemetery in Lower Wallens Creek.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Gilliam Funeral Home to assist the family with final expenses.
