George J. Allen CHERRY VALLEY - George J. Allen, 88, passed away Friday, May 17, 2013. He was born June 2, 1924, in North Rose, the son of Thomas and Elizabeth (Huckle) Allen. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 21, 2013, at the Ottman Funeral Home, Cherry Valley. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. preceding the service at 1 p.m. Burial with military honors will follow in the Cherry Valley Cemetery. To send condolences or light a candle visit www.ottmanfuneralhome.com. Arrangements were entrusted to the Ottman Funeral Home, Cherry Valley.
