Obituary: Fall River Evening Herald, Monday, 23 March 1925: "Mrs Florida Turgeon Cote, widow of Pierre Cote, died Saturday at the residence of her daughter, Mrs W W Clifford, 1059 Pleasant street, at the age of 82. Mrs Cote was born in Villa Marie, Beaumont, P Q., but had been a resident of this city for 55 years. She leaves a son, Frank Cote; a daughter, Mrs W W Clifford of this city, and five grandchildren, Milford, Harvey, Edwin and Edna Powell, and Mrs James Ahearn, all of Los Angeles, Cal. The funeral took place today, interment having been in Oak Grove cemetery."
