McMinnville, TN resident and Van Buren County, TN native Charles Reese Russell, age 78, was born August 29, 1940 and died August 20, 2019 at his residence following a sudden illness.
Retired from Powermatic, he was the son of the late Genie and Leatha Estella Stinnett Russell. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, Daniel Lee Russell.
He was married on July 29, 1978 to Carolyn Taylor Russell of McMinnville. In addition to his wife, he is survived by three daughters, Susie and Angie both of Texas, and Darlene of Lewisburg, TN; two sons, Robert and Michael Russell both of McMinnville; brother and sister-in-law, Harold and Laura Russell of Spencer, TN; four sisters, Willie Mae Simmons of Spencer, TN, Lula Ray of McMinnville, Ruth Holmes of Ringgold, GA and Barbara Maggie Webb of Dalton, GA; and several nieces and nephews also survive.
Graveside service and inurnment will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 31, 2019, in Grange Hall Cemetery.
