Bonnie was a Corrections Officer for the State of Michigan for over 20 years and retired in 2010. She was a single mother of three children and did the best she could for her children, always putting them first. She was a faithful member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. She enjoyed her grandchildren and those who adopted her as their mother or grandmother. She loved to shop until a few days before her passing, true story. She loved to garden, travel, ceramics, painting, and spending time with family and friends. She was a gift to all who knew her. She loved to laugh. She was funny and a hoot to be around. There was never a dull moment with our Bonnie. Someone recently said, "it was her 'Bonnie Love'", that was magnetic and made you feel loved.
Bonnie's wishes were to be cremated. A zoom Memorial Service will be held Saturday December 5th, 2020 at 4pm, hosted by Grand Haven Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. A celebration of life will be held by the family at a later date. Memorial contributions can be donated to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Michigan - Indiana Region at donate.lls.org/lls/donate and Spectrum Health Hospice at give.spectrumhealth.org/hospice/donate.
This memorial means even more to me because Bonnie was a findagrave member too.

She also loved family history and about the year 2010 or 2011, while working on her history, I introduced her to Findagrave. She put much of her work here and we enjoyed going over it together.
