Sharon Kay (Arthur) Coomer, age 55, of West Carrollton, OH, passed away Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at Grandview Hospital in Dayton. She was born August 29, 1965 in Dayton, OH to David Arthur, Sr. and Sara (Watt) Browning. She was a 1983 graduate of Colonel White High School . Sharon worked for Montgomery County for 11 years in waste incineration and then cleaning the court building. Unfortunately, she became disabled from exposure to the toxic fumes and chemicals from those jobs. Sharon was a very kind, caring and funny person. Her family, and especially her grandchildren, meant everything to her. She is preceded in death by her father David Arthur, Sr.; step mother Barbara Arthur of Connersville, IN; and husbands Fred Combs and Gene Coomer.
She is survived by her daughter Elizabeth (Kevin) Combs of Eaton, OH; son Eric Combs of West Carrollton; grandchildren Connor Gutierrez, Leah Pugh, Kayden Combs and Cherish Combs; mother Sara (Watt) Browning of Eaton; brothers David Arthur, Jr. and Bruce (Robin) Arthur both of Eaton; nieces and nephew Taylor Arthur and daughter Mia and Michael Arthur; along with many cousins, aunts and uncles.
Friends may call on the family from 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm Monday, December 7, 2020 at the Robert L. Crooks Funeral Center at Preble Memory Gardens – 3377 US Rt. 35, West Alexandria, OH. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 pm at the funeral home with Pastor Steve Peters officiating. Burial will follow at Preble Memory Gardens Cemetery.
