Sad Accident. We learn from Mr. Herbert, over from Middle Park, that a sad accident occurred on the Muddy River, in Grand county, on the 1st inst. Nathan S. Bangs, formerly of New York, but more recently of Idaho Springs, while out hunting, had the misfortune to discharge his rifle by accident in such a manner as to inflict a serious wound in his thigh, from the effects of which he died on the 5th. At a meeting of the citizens of Grand county the following resolutions were adopted, in connection with the sorrowful event:
Resolved, That, in the death of Nathan S. Bangs we have lost a good friend and worthy citizen, whose loss is deeply deplored by all the people of Grand county.
2. That we sympathize with, and tender to the bereaved mother and relatives of the deceased our sincere regret and condolence.
3. That these resolutions be published in the Colorado Miner and a copy of the same be sent to his mother.
