Donna J. McIntyre, 84, of Riverton passed away on Monday, December 7, 2020 at the Wind River Rehab and Wellness. A graveside service will be Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at Mountain View Cemetery in Riverton.
Donna Jean was born July 11, 1936 in Pawnee, Nebraska to Stanley and (Weber) Trompke. She moved to Pavillion, Wyoming at a young age graduating Riverton High School and the Denver Business College. She lived the majority of her life in Riverton marrying Robert Bennett McIntyre in 1956. She was baptized into the Lutheran faith.
She was well known as a waitress for many restaurants in the area including Lake View near Boysen and the Sundowner Steak House for many years. Before her retirement she worked at the Mountain Man Museum for four years.
She enjoyed doing needlepoint, reading, playing cribbage and Skip Bo with her friends and family.
She is survived by two sons, Robert McIntyre and Kat Svilar of Riverton, John and Linda McIntyre of Riverton; two daughters, Ruth Ryman and Scott Smede of Riverton and Chris and Chuck Williams of Casper, WY; 14 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren; sister, Lucille Smith of Bountiful, Utah.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert B. McIntryre; three brothers; three sisters; and two sons, Scott and Edward McIntyre.
