Funeral services for Daniel G. Lake, 59, 3721 Fifth avenue, a salesman for the Waitt & Hruska Commission Co., who died Thursday night at a hospital after a two-day illness, will be at 3:30 p.m. Monday at Morningside Presbyterian church. Rev. R. N. Miller will officiate. Burial will be in Graceland Park cemetery under direction of the W. Harry Christy funeral home in Morningside. Pallbearers will be Robert Johnson, Willis McCoy, Allen McCoy, Dell Pierce, Francis O’Mera and Gene Mitchell. Mr. Lake was born August 17, 1888, in Chicago and had resided here since infancy. He began work for the commission firm at the age of 18 and had been employed there since. Mr. Lake was a member of Morningside Presbyterian church. Survivors include the widow, two sons, William C. and Daniel R., both of Sioux City, and a grandson, Ronald Roy.
