Ann F. Madlin of Edgewater, FL, formerly of Syracuse, NY, died peacefully in her sleep at the age of 94 on June 11, 2009. Mrs. Madlin became ill suddenly and was being cared for at Hospice of Volusia/Flagler in Edgewater. At her side was her loving daughter, Joan Scinski of Edgewater, FL.

She was predeceased by her husband, Edgar B. Madlin and granddaughter, Mary Margaret Ryan. In addition to her daughter, she is survived by four grandchildren; Kathleen (Mark) McGinley, Phoenix, NY, Patricia Ryan Saratoga Springs, NY, Michael (Debra) Ryan, Saranac Lake, NY and Mary (Howard) Monise of Corona, CA. She was also blessed with seven great-grandchildren; Laura, Allison and Emily McGinley; Erin and Kilian Ryan; Ryan (Sophia) and Erin Monise.

Mrs. Madlin was active in the St. Gerard's Mission Church choir and the Bert Fish Medical Center Auxiliary. She was a former member of the Artist Workshop and also a life member of the Onondaga Guild of Syracuse, NY. Prior to her retirement, she was employed at Wells and Coverly of Syracuse, NY for 30 years.

A memorial mass will be held on 11:00AM, Tuesday, June 16, 2009 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. A reception will follow in the social hall.
