Betty Jean Bernard, age 76, of Liberty, KY passed away on Friday, September 30, 2016 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center. She was born on November 10,1939 in Middleburg, KY, the daughter of the late Oscar and Clydell Perkins Elmore.
She was a former clerk with Wesley Drug Store and was a member of Rheber Church of the Nazarene.
Besides her parents, Betty was also preceded in death by her siblings; Christine Bastin, Raymond and Gerald Elmore and Juanita Lee.
Survivors include her spouse; JC Bernard, two daughters; Tamara Bernard of Danville and Chasity Crew of Liberty, one son; Steve Bernard of Liberty, three grandchildren; Lacey Edwards of Wallscheid, Germany, Bransky Bernard of Liberty and Jacob Tabor of Bardstown, four great-grandchildren; Skyler, Cash, Ariah and Johnny Bernard and three sisters; Marlene Taylor of Gallatin, TN, Glenda Garrett of Dunnville and Connie Montgomery of Liberty.
Visitation will be held 6:00 P.M. till 9:00 P.M. Monday, October 3rd, 2016 at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel in Liberty, KY. Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M. October 4th, 2016 at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel. Bro Darrell Karnes, Larry Cochran and Bro. Dwight Bastin officiating. Burial will follow in Glenwood Cemetery.
