Sandra D. Harris-Wayne 53 of Peoria, formerly of Spring Valley. Passed away at 11:40 AM on December 9, 2020, in her home with her family by her side. After a 3-year battle with lung cancer.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 10:00 -12:00 PM in the Ptak Funeral Home.
Sandra was born March 28, 1967, in Spring Valley, IL to William David and Marlene Ann (Weir) Harris. She married Clarence W. (Bill) Wayne on December 13, 2010, in Lacon, IL
She was a press operator for over 6 years at G&D Integrated in Morton, IL. She was very passionate about doing a quality job. She enjoyed all-day coffee, Facebook, gossiping with her sisters, genealogy, road trips, family get-togethers, correcting her husband - often and yes a cigarette. She was the anchor of our family and will sorely be missed.
Survivors include her husband Bill, her Stepfather John Christmann of DePue. Her children Isaac (Inez) Renner of Heber Spring, Ark., Shawndra (Blake) Harris- Hubbard of Peoria, Michael Mateika of Peru, Tiffany Mateika of Dixon, IL, Nakieta Urban of Tonica, and Kanieca Wayne at home. Step Granddaughter Elizabeth Wayne of Peoria whom she helped raise and stepsons Mark (Amanda) Lester of Bloomington, IL, and Lee (Mary) Wayne of Peoria. She is also survived by her siblings Roxanne Gardner of Wenona, Il, Debbie (Mark) Ahlers of Magnolia, Il, Louis (Esther) Devore of Canada, Barb (Curt) Newlon of Peru, Il, Tina (Willard) Smith of Toluca, IL and Mary (Albert Sprague) Harris of Henry, IL, and five Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and 1 brother William Harris.
The family would like to thank Illinois Cancer Care, Unity Point Healthcare and Hospice, Dr. Beam, Dr. Tsung, and Mary Wayne and Barb Newlon for their help and devotion to Sandra in our time of need.
