Chief Stoker Thomas Ball was the husband of Bertha Ellen Ball (nee Howard) they lived at 64 Orwell Road, Kirkdale, Liverpool.

Thomas served on H.M.S. Sligo a Hunt Class Destroyer as Chief Stoker.

He died in Liverpool of Pulmonary Tuberculosis.
