A retired school teacher, she had taught 2 nd grade at the Good Shepherd Catholic School in Garland for over 17 years. She was a graduate of San Marcos State University in 1925 and the University of North Texas 1960. A member of the daughters of the American revolution. Mrs. Neal was also a member of the Oregon club as well as the University Women. Preceded in death by her husband Charles W Neal in 1957 and a daughter Jane Neal sellers in 1962. She is survived by her daughter Mary Ellen Darby of duncanville Texas sons and daughter-in-law Charles Franklin and Linda Neal of Whidbey island WA and Dan Anthony and Linda Neal of mesquite Texas. 14 grandchildren 23 great-grandchildren who knew her as granny. Sister and brother-in-law Jewel Franklin and Alfred Rowe of San Antonio Texas. funeral mass and rosary will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday March 31st 1999 at holy Spirit Catholic Church. 1111 W Danial-dale road Duncanville TX. burial services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday April 1st 1999 at the San Fernando cemetery, San Antonio Texas.
