David was born in Franklin on June 26, 1948, the second to youngest of five children born to Peter and Helen Boudreaux and passed away peacefully at his home at the age of 72 in the early morning hours of Tuesday, December 15, 2020.

Pops, as he was affectionately known by many, was a hardworking man who always had a smile on his face. He owned and operated Boudreaux’s Auto Service in Franklin for many years, taking excellent care of customer’s vehicles. He was definitely one of the friendliest persons you could ever meet. He always had a fresh pot of coffee ready to share with those stopping by his shop and made time to visit with his customers no matter how busy he was. Following retiring due to health concerns, Pops enjoyed watching TV, wearing out countless remotes, as well as visiting with family and friends, especially over a good meal. He will be greatly missed.

His memory will forever live on in the hearts of his wife of 52 years, Patricia “Pat” Picard Boudreaux; his son, Toddy Boudreaux and his wife Mary; grandchildren, Lynzi Allen and her husband Charles Jr. and Macie Landry and her companion Germanny Williams; great grandchildren, Devyn Raymond, Datyn Raymond, and Emerson Williams; his sister, Joyce B. Boudreaux and her husband Alvin; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Peter Joseph Boudreaux and Helen Mae Rivette Boudreaux; sisters, Flora Boudreaux and Norma Persilver; and brother, Larry Boudreaux Sr.

Serving as pallbearers will be Jason Higgins, Joseph Clement, Larry Boudreaux Jr., Billy Caro, David Rose Jr., and Shannon Businelle. Honorary pallbearer will be John Higgins Jr.
