She was born in Portsmouth, NH on May 7, 1934 the daughter of the late
Shirley R. and Bessie L. (Chambers) Moulton. Mrs. Chapman lived in the Seacoast area most of her life before moving to Vermont in 1976.
She shared 41 years of marriage with her loving husband, Harland F. Chapman, who died in 2001. She was predeceased by a son, Daniel O. Coburn, who died in 1972 and by two brothers, Hartford and Darrel Roberts.
Eleanor leaves behind her children, Michael Coburn of TN, Donald Coburn of TN, Scott Coburn of NH, Shirley Chapman of NH, Mark Chapman of VT, Robin Chapman of VT, Lynne Aboujaoude of NH, April Chapman of ME, Beth Curto of NJ, Angelia McCoy of VT, Paul Chapman of VT, 23 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, four sisters, Winifred Pazzanese, Sylvia Brown, Geneva Knope all of NH, and Donna Staton of FL; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
