Found as Lovelace and Loveless. Married Caroline M. Howland of Wayne County, NY.
"June 9 —John E. Lovelace, a well known farmer of Waterloo township, residing between this village and Geneva, died at his late home last night, aged 65 years. Mr. Lovelace was a native of Canada, but came here in childhood and had resided here for sixty years. Surviving him are a brother, William Lovelace, and a half brother, Robert Wooden, of Waterloo; four half sisters, Mrs. Agnes Dox, of Geneva, Mrs. Rosella Sutton, of Waterloo, Mrs. Mary Alattison, of Lansing, Mich., and Mrs. Uretta Joslin, of Owasso, Mich., besides his widow."
