Following a lengthy illness, William C. Dafoe, 78 North Park Street, died at his home late Monday afternoon. He was born in Yankee Town, U.S., 86 years ago being the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. James Dafoe and has resided in this district for the past 57 years.
The late, Mr. Dafoe was well known and highly respected in the community and his death will bring sincere regrets from a wide circle of friends.
A member of Calvary Temple, he is survived by his wife, the former Sarah Jane Hudgins, one son, Earl Dafoe at home, and one brother Ollie Dafoe of Foxboro.
