Butch R. Allie, 62, of Garner, Iowa passed away Thursday, December 17, 2020 surrounded by his loved ones.

A memorial visitation will be held from 5 to 7 P.M., Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at Cataldo Funeral Chapel, 160 E. 4th St., Garner with a time of sharing at 7 P.M.

Elmer “Butch” Raymond Allie, the son of Evelyn (Gilbert) Allie, was born June 26, 1958 in Des Moines. He graduated from Saydel High School in 1977 and began working at Firestone in Des Moines. On April 15, 1978 he married Dawn Beebe in Des Moines. In 1984 he moved to Garner and worked at Winnebago Industries in Forest City for the next 27 years. He enjoyed fishing, camping, watching sports and spending time with his family, especially his grandkids.

Butch is survived by his children’s mother, Dawn Allie; six children, Stacy, Joseph, May, Monica, Benjamin and Michael; grandchildren, Jamin, Clayton, Dylan, Emma, Evan, Lillian, Emily and Reese; a brother, Bud (Cindy) Denning; two sisters, Sandra (Mike) Johnson and Rose Seeley; and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
