She was born Feb. 15, 1895, in Clintonville, Wis., to Theresa and Herman Fuhrmann.
Following her marriage to Joseph Kimpton, she and her husband moved to San Diego, Calif., and operated a grocery store there. In 1942 they moved to Hamilton and opened a grocery store on Main Street; the store is now known as the Little Store.
The couple moved to Arizona after their retirement. Mrs. Kimpton returned to Hamilton following her husband’s death in 1969.
Survivors include a son, George Kimpton, Redwood Valley, Calif.; a daughter, Jaculyn Cory, Hamilton; and 15 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
No services are planned. Entombment will be in the Memorial Gardens Mausoleum in Scottsdale, Ariz. The Dowling Funeral Home in Hamilton is in charge of local arrangements.
