Mariam was born in Detroit, Michigan on February 14, 1938 to the late William Kipley and Melba (Wire) Tucci. She worked as a bookkeeper for H & R for 10 years, and for Northwest Plumbing for 15 years. Mariam also worked for Glens Market in Mio for 20 years. She was a faithful member of the Mio Baptist Church. Kip was an avid reader all of her life. She liked to bowl, do embroidery, and play Solitaire on her IPad. She took a genuine interest in the lives of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, never failing to show her love and support. Kip put her faith and trust in Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior, looking forward to spending eternity with Him. She was well-loved and will be greatly missed.
Mariam is survived by her husband Vernon "Bud" Abbe of Mio, MI; her children: George (Richele) of Middlebury, IN; William Ray (Lunette) of Middlebury, IN; and Linda (John) of Mio, MI; her step-daughter Gwen of Johnson City, TN; 1 sister JoAnn Windiate; 2 brothers: Michael (Lorna) Tucci and James (Camille) Tucci; 19 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her step-son Greg, her grandson Addison Esch, and her great-grandson Jonas Bollon.
Visitation on Monday, December 21, 2020 from 10 – 11 AM at the Mio Baptist Church, Mio, MI, with Funeral Services at 11 AM with Pastor Jamie Lundquist officiating. Interment to follow at Fairview Cemetery, Fairview, Michigan.
