"DEATHS
JAMES A. KUYKENDALL
James A. Kuykendall died at the home of his son, A. Frank Kuykendall, 865 West Eldorado, at 7 o'clock Tuesday morning. He had been in ill health for about a year. He was born in Green county [sic] May 25, 1845, and came here in 1881.
He leaves four sons, Adolph Frank, John and Elmer of Decatur, three daughters, Carrie Cheek, Mt. Pulaski; Maggie Dailey, Plymouth, Mich.; and Stella Kuykendall of Oklahoma, one brother, Louis Kuykendall of Oregon, one sister, Sophia Garrison, Dal Green [sic], 15 grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 o'clock Thursday at the Methodist church at Mt. Pulaski.
The body will remain at the J. J. Moran funeral home where friends may call until noon Thursday when the body will be taken to Mt. Pulaski for burial in the Mt. Pulaski cemetery."
