Robert Knickerbocker, a bartender, chef, bandleader and film maker, died in Marin July 15 at age 44.
He organized the band Final Solution, which played at the old Fillmore Auditorium during the late 1960s.
He was an actor and film producer and had numerous photographs published.
Lately he had been a chef at the Anchor Oyster Bar here and previously had been a bartender at spots such as the Washington Square Bar and Grill.
He was a 1968 graduate of San Francisco State University. Surviving are his wife, Gay, a daughter, Naomi, of Sausalito; and his mother, Michaeline of Palo Alto.
Funeral services have been held.
