Wife, Mother and Grandmother, Dina Fern Shaw Webb passed away on December 14, 2020 at home. She was born in the old Lehi Hospital on March 29, 1945, the third daughter of Leonard Wayne Shaw and Nyda Berniece Sabey Shaw and was raised in the old 1st Ward in Lehi. She attended the Lehi Elementary School, Lehi Junior High and Lehi High School, graduating in 1963.

She met Bruce Lee Webb in Junior High School and they were High School sweethearts – even performing together in assemblies. They married after his mission in the Salt Lake Temple on June 28, 1967 and made their first home in Lehi. They were blessed with four children; Lara (Todd) Smith, Doug (Alexa) Webb, Susan (Danny) Patten and Josie (Catham) Beer, 14 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Dina worked at the Church Office Building in Salt Lake, then after surviving cancer, as a Special Education bus aide and a Special Education aide at the Lehi Elementary school. She loved the students she worked with and her co-workers.

Bruce and Dina moved into a home on 2nd East in Lehi in 1973 and have lived there ever since. She was a life long member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many callings in the Lehi 2nd Ward and Lehi Utah Stake. The Gospel was central to her life. She loved to visit with people and after a few moments of conversation considered total strangers her friends. She cared about everyone and was constantly on the phone checking on her friends, neighbors and family.

Music was always a big part of her life. As a girl she performed with the family musical group known as the Four D’s and Daddy. She continued to enjoy music by singing in choirs and ensuring it was a part of everyday life in her family. Dina’s life was focused on her family. She was always looking forward to the next family outing or party. Those family events revolved around her food and her humor. She was fiercely protective of her grandchildren and had a very close relationship with each of them. She loved holidays and sent cards to the entire family for each and every holiday. She particularly enjoyed Halloween as “Herman” sat on the porch and Dina visited and gave out candy to everyone. She also loved Christmas and the annual “Webb Fest”.

She was preceded in death by her sisters Donna Marsh, Diana Taylor, Deon Gurney, brother Douglas Shaw and her parents. She is survived by her husband, Bruce Webb, her children and grandchildren.

Because of COVID restrictions, a small viewing will be held Sunday, December 20th, at Wing Mortuary, 118 East Main, Lehi, Utah, from 6-8:00 PM, with a private family funeral on Monday, December 21st.
