Well-known architect and water- colorist and brother to Academy Award winning actor, Don Ameche and radio personality, Jim Ameche, died November 28, 1999.
Bert began painting when studying architecture at the Catholic University of American in Washington, D.C. and at Fontainbleu School of Fine Arts, Fontainbleu, France where he painted watercolors of many classical European Bites.
His love of painting continued through, the years and after 45 years of architecture he returned to his first love, watercolors, specializing in Italian and other European scenes. He is survived by his wire of 56 years, Rita; and their six children and thirteen grandchildren.
