He was born July 20, 1909 in Streator, a son of George and Mary (Bendik) Blasko.
He was preceded in death by brothers: Martin and George Blasco; and sisters: Mary Wahl and Ann Blakemore.
Last employed by R.J.'s Corner, he retired from Harvest Bakery in 1972. A lifetime Streator resident, he was a member of St. Stephen's Church, Knights of Columbus and St. Stephen's Lodge.
