Portage - Mrs. Charles (Faye E.) Fifield, 31, of 5450 Melton Road, a resident here for five years, died unexpectedly Thursday at Gary Mercy Hospital.
She was a member of Grace Nazarene Church and was employed at Bethlehem Steel Corp. Mrs. Fifield was formerly of Newland, NC.
Surviving are her husband and two daughters, Deborah and Rene, both at home; her mother, Mrs. Maude Baldwin of Portage; her father and step-mother, Clarence and Lorraine Baldwin of Ashville, NC; three brothers, Clarence Jr. of Newland, Robert of Portage and Douglas of Savannah, Ga.
Services will be held Monday at Raines-Sturdivant Funeral Home, Newland. Burial will be in Vale Cemetery, Newland.
Friends may call Olson and Frum Portage Chapel today until 10 pm.
