Ada Mae Berry, 94, of Princeton, passed away on Saturday, December 19, 2020 at home. She was born on August 26, 1926 in Bowling Green, KY to Jacob and Edith (Buford) Woods.

She had lived in Princeton since moving from Kentucky in 1957. She was a homemaker, babysitter and had worked in dry cleaning. She was a member of St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church in Princeton and a former member of Living Waters Church. She enjoyed traveling, going to yard sales, meeting new people and singing Christian music.

Ada Mae is survived by her children, Mary Louis Jackson of Indianapolis, Elizabeth Brown of Princeton, William "Bill" Berry of Princeton, Rose Berry (Robert Meriwether) of Princeton and Jacob Berry of Princeton; grandchildren, Anthony Wood, Virgil Brown and Cassandra Glosser; 8 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; and a sister, Barthenia Granger of Louisville.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Luther Berry in 1968; siblings, Alphonso, Charlene, Lois, Buford and Fredricka Woods; 6 stepbrothers and stepsisters; and daughter-in-law, Catherine Berry.

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, December 26, 2020 at Sand Hill Cemetery in Princeton with Rev. Floyd Edwards and Rev. Rodney Coffer officiating. Burial will follow. There will be a walk-through visitation on Saturday from 11 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, capacity inside the funeral home is limited to 25 people at one time to allow for social distancing and masks are required.
