She married Joseph Michael Cooper on December 26, 1922, in King County, Washington. They had two children during their marriage Wilamina Louise and Alberta. Alberta died of tuberculosis when she was just one years old. Just 2 years later, Eva would die from Pulmonary Tuberculosis on August 17, 1929, in Seattle, Washington, at the age of 24.
