Mr. Warren died Sunday at Ransom Memorial Hospital in Ottawa.
He was born April 21, 1960, in Topeka. He attended Overbrook Grade School and graduated from Santa Fe Trail High School in May 1979. He participated in the Santa Fe Trail wrestling program while in high school.
Mr. Warren served four years with the U.S. Marine Corps, being discharged in December 1989. His service included duty as an air traffic controller on Okinawa.
Survivors include his father, Gary Lee Warren, Rantoul; his mother, Mary Frances Snell, Carbondale; two sisters, Sherry Davidson, Burlingame, and Terry Tucker, Carbondale; four stepsisters, Ranea Lafebvre, Topeka, Tonya Snell, Carbondale, and Julia Downs and Peggy Smith, both of Overbrook; a stepbrother, Stu Martin, Omaha, Neb.; and his grandmother, Sallie Johnson, Overbrook.
